Concha bullosa is the most common anatomic variant of the middle turbinate that usually remains asymptomatic. If the mucosal lining of pneumatized middle turbinate becomes inflamed, symptoms such as nasal obstruction, post-nasal discharge, snoring, headache, and fever occur.
