Cardiovascular diseases are ranked worldwide as the key factor of morbidity and mortality; they impair the quality of life and cause great losses to state economy. Coronary heart disease is of special significance due to the high prevalence, high risk and frequency of complications. Radiodiagnostics used to examine cardiologic patients makes possible visualization of coronary arteries and evaluation of their morphometric parameters, but it fails to provide information on the changes in hemomicrocirculation and to estimate myocardial perfusion or changes in the structural and functional changes in myocardial tissue and cardiac afferent system...

There is no generally accepted consensus on the management of patent foramen ovale (PFO) in the presence of cryptogenic cerebral ischemia, because of the lack of conclusive evidence. The aim of this position paper was to develop and promote a joint approach based on available data that may be shared by different specialists, while waiting for definite results from randomized controlled trials. A position statement was produced involving the major national scientific societies. The task force members were nominated by the presidents and/or executive boards of each society or working group, as appropriate, based on their previous work in relevant topic areas...

All of them were clinically diagnosed as left to right shunt through a persistent ductus arteriosus in two cases and of VSD the other two. The final diagnosis was made through cardiac cateterization in one case and at surgery in three. Two of the cases showed additional alterations, in one case it was a PDA, and the other a valvular aortic stenosis...

The levels of the hemolytic complement (UH 50%), C3, C4 and the antibodies against myocardium and against the antigenic fractions of myocardium precipitated with ammonium sulphate were studied in 8 patients with active rehumatic fever (ARF), 28 with inactive rheumatic fever (IRF) and 26 people without cardiopaties (NI). The UH 50% was low in 2 out of 36 patients with rheumatic fever (RF). C3 was normal and C4 low in 12.5% of the ARF patients. C3 had subnormal values in 25% and C4 in 33% of IRF patients, this last value had a stadistic significant decrease with respect to the values of C4 in normal people...

Analysing the Ecg and VCG of 818 subjects, healthy or with different congenital and acquired cardiopaties, the frequency of right bundle branch block (RBBB) is established to decrease with the increase in age of children, and is observed to be 8.9% in healthy adults. The right bundle block is observed in 82.5% of the patients with atrial septal defect and quite often in patients with right ventricle tension loading, gradually decreasing with the level of the left ventricle loading, as well as with the development of extreme right ventricle hypertrophy...
