In this study, an improved standard addition method (ISAM) was developed for the determination of phosphorus in soil by ICP-OES based on the conventional standard addition method (CSAM) and calibration curve method (CCM). Certified standard soils were analyzed by the proposed ISAM method. The values obtained by ISAM method agreed with the certified values. Additionally, the results obtained by ISAM method were compared with those determined by the other two methods (CSAM and CCM). A reversed phase liquid chromatographic method with UV detection at 254 nm for dorzolamide assay in ophthalmic solutions was developed and validated. A vacuum microwave-mediated method was used to extract syringoside and oleuropein from Syringa oblata twigs. The optimal extraction conditions were an ethanol volume fraction of 40%, a liquid-solid ratio of 17 mL/g, 1 h of soaking time, -0.08 MPa of vacuum, a microwave irradiation power of 524 W, and a microwave irradiation time of 8 min. Under optimal parameters, the maximum yields of syringoside (5.92 ± 0.24 mg/g) and oleuropein (4.02 ± 0.18 mg/g) were obtained. Caffeine is recognized as the first-line therapeutic agent for apnea of prematurity. The dosage regimen is 10 mg/kg loading dose and 2.5 mg/kg maintenance dose. A simple and fast method for the determination of PAHs in smoked meat samples was described. The QuEChERS (Z-Sep) procedure was used for sample preparation. Gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer with electron ionization (EI) was used to separate and detect the PAHs. All 16 common PAHs were analyzed successfully. Matrix-matched calibration was applied. A facile, green, and high-output hydrothermal synthesis was proposed for the fabrication of highly fluorescent nitrogen-doped carbon quantum dots (N-doped CDs).
