Verrucous epidermal nevus (VEN) is a skin disorder that commonly presents at birth; it is characterized by skin-colored to brown verrucous papules in a linear distribution following Blaschko's lines. Even though it is extremely rare, VEN has been associated with malignant transformation. VEN has been treated by different treatment modalities with varying and frustrating results. We introduce a new type of treatment. The fractional micro-plasma radio-frequency (RF) technology, which uses unipolar RF technology to provoke plasma spars, creating multiple controlled micro-perforations on the skin...

Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a good option for erythema and telangiectasia of rosacea. Demodex, which is light and heat sensitive, is an important risk of Rosacea. Sometimes, IPL can induce rosacea aggravation. Here, we show two cases of erythema rosacea aggravated as pustule in several hours after IPL. Both cases show high density of Demodex after IPL. Neither of them had photosensitivity, systemic disease, or any other contraindication for IPL. One of the patients received IPL again after Demodex infection relieved and this time there was no inflammation induction...

Striae distensae (SD) are atrophic dermal scars often found on abdomen, breasts, thighs, and hips of pregnant women. The strias' self-healing without any intervention is a poor possibility. Till now, several lasers and light sources have been used for treatment of SD. However, there are no integrated therapeutic approaches determined for treatment of SD yet. So, in this study, the therapeutic effect of fractional ablative CO2 laser in women with pregnancy was assessed. Twenty-four ethic Iranian women aged between 20 and 42 years with various severity of pregnancy SD enrolled in retrospective case series study...
