Sixty-five patients (78% males and 22% females) undergoing haemodialysis in the selected tertiary level hospital who had been given a diet sheet in the past- were selected purposively. An interview schedule developed, validated and piloted was used to measure adherence to diet and fluid. In addition retrospective biochemical parameters (se- rum potassium, phosphorous, albumin) and interdialytic weight gain retrieved from medical records were used as a measure of adherence. This one group pre- and post-test study evaluated the effectiveness of concept mapping and lecture method of teaching among 73 under graduate nursing students. One group was exposed to concept mapping technique and the other group was exposed to lecture method of teaching about HIV/AIDS. Findings indicated a statistically significant increase in the knowledge and attitude of students towards HIV/ AIDS among students exposed to concept mapping than students who underwent lecture method. The present study aimed to assess the effectiveness of Tactile-Kinesthetic stimulation (TKS) on level of neuromuscular maturity among pre-term infants. True-experimental pre-test -post-test research design was adopted among 60 pre-term infants by simple random sampling lottery method. The pre-term infants in the study group were given TKS thrice daily for 10 days. The pre- and post-test level of neuromuscular.maturity was assessed by using Ballard's Maturational Assessment Scale.
